Soil Testing is a very valuable tool that is used very little by homeowners.  A soil test is a low cost tool (typically around $25-$50) that lets you know what your lawn needs.  The results of a soil test will allow you to supplement or adjust your nutrient program to the needs of your lawn.  Soling testing is only needed every few years to monitor the macro-changes in your soil.
